How it all started

Like many other flight simulator enthusiasts, my fascination began at an early age. Starting with Flight Simulator 98, I moved on to Flight Simulator 2004 and eventually FSX—at least for the time being.

As a teenager and young adult, I lost touch with flight simulation for a while, and it took nearly a decade before I rediscovered it. When Microsoft released MSFS in 2020, they delivered a stunning visual experience—one that I simply couldn’t resist.

After installing the game, my desire for more realism and an easier cockpit operation than using a computer mouse grew. This led me to research the best way to build a home cockpit.

Just in time for the MSFS release, Thrustmaster introduced its TCA Airbus Edition products. Featuring a joystick, throttle quadrant, flaps, speed brakes, landing gear lever, and other essential functions, this became my first dedicated flight simulator hardware.
